If you visit many American churches today. you'll often find the flag for the nation of Israel, next to the cross or next to the American flag. The six pointed star depicted on the flag is called the hexagram. Too Many Christians the symbol represents "the nation of Israel" and they call it the Star of David but a closer look at the history and purpose of the symbol will reveal something quite startling and disturbing.
this article is not to denounce the nation of Israel or the Jewish folks who live there in any way. For I whole heartedly believe that they need to hear the Gospel message of Jesus Christ just as much as anyone else in this world. In fact the more I study this topic the more I start to realize that there are no Commandments from Jesus or the Apostles that says we have to get involved with God's plan, For the nation of Israel especially militarily or politically short of sharing the gospel with them. But this article is not about that, rather the purpose here is to inform people especially Christians who support the nation of Israel politically and militarily, to consider a couple of things.
1: why do you as a Christian especially those of you who are in step with modern Bible prophecy teaching openly flaunt the flag that bears the nation of Israel in your books websites and other media when the symbol might all be part of a Kabbalistic magical working ?
I know that's kind of a loaded question but if you bear with me you'll see why I asked that question. and
2: Why do you think the American Church has been falling deeper into apostasy allowing new-age teaching to infiltrate its walls ?
Now these two questions might not seem to have any relationship with one another but as I will demonstrate I believe there is a correlation that at the very least deserve your attention.

So here we see Stephen accused of speaking blasphemous words against Moses the law Jewish customs God and God's dwelling place the temple. What I find particularly interesting is that. according to several commentaries the REPHAN is synonymous with the planet Saturn. for example according to el cots commentary for English readers Wren fan appears to have been understood by the Septuagint translators as an equivalent for the Hebrew Cuyuna which is supposed by many scholars to be identified with the planet Saturn of which REPHAN the Septuagint form of the name was the Coptic or Egyptian name. "Because the object of worship called CHIUN in Hebrew was called REMPHAN in the language of Egypt it is generally agreed that the object of their worship was the planet Saturn or Mars both of which planets were worshipped as gods of evil influence in Arabic the word CHEWAN denotes the planet saturn probably REPHAN or REMPHAN is the Coptic name for the same planet and the Septuagint adopted this because the translation was made in Egypt where the Coptic language was spoken."
Gil's exposition of the entire Bible states quote:
" CHIUN is indeed by a kimchi and Abin Ezra said to be the Same of CHEWAN which in the ISHMAELITISH and Persian languages signifies Saturn and so does REPHAN in the Egyptian language."

Meyers new testament commentary states quote:
 "The ancient arabs Phoenicians and Egyptians gave divine honors to the planet Saturn and in particular the Arabic name of this star (CHEWAN) corresponds entirely to the Hebrew form.. the Coptic name of Saturn known to them."
so you get the point the god REPHAN that Stephan mentions is Saturn but to understand the star of your god REPHAN let's dig back into the Old Testament Amos 5 verse 26 states this and the KJV

"But ye have born the tabernacle of your Moloch and Kai Yoon your images the star of your God which he made to yourselves"

Here we again see a reference to a star and CHEWAN so what is the word of God trying to tell us about this star of Saturn the origin of the hexagram is unknown yet. it's been an important symbol for various religions throughout history but before we get into the historical use of the symbol let me point out that during the 1981 to 82 Voyager mission it was discovered that the North Pole of Saturn had a hexagon shaped vortex and while there may be nothing to it. it's awfully strange as we will come to see that the hexagram the six pointed star which contains in the middle a hexagon had associations with the planet saturn thousands of years ago.
